Kaleidoscope Dance Studio Staff

Laura – Owner/Dance Instructor

Laura has danced at Kaleidoscope Dance Studio from pre-school to a senior in high school. From there she attended MSU-Mankato and was a captain for the award-winning MSU Dance Team. Laura has been a dance instructor since 1997, owned the studio since 2004, and loves being a small business owner in the community she grew up in. She is a mother of three and is proud to have her two daughters in dance. 

Sandy – Office Administrator/Ultimate Dance Mom

Sandy is Laura’s mother and has been a Dance Mom since 1986 and has entered the world of Dance Grandma. She has been the Office Administrator since 2004 and is the backbone to our studio. 

Jamee – Dance Instructor/Choreographer

Jamee has danced at Kaleidoscope Dance Studio from 6^th-12^th grade. She attended MSU-Mankato and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Food & Nutrition and a minor in Dance. She was a member/captain of MSU’s Hockey Cheer Team and has been an instructor for over ten years. Her favorite style is jazz and while she is now living in Plymouth, she is still an active part of the studio.

Jessica - Choreographer

Jessica grew up dancing at KDS since the age of 3 with an additional background in gymnastics. Jessica then transitioned from being a student to a teacher.  While teaching at KDS she worked with both recreational classes and the competition teams. Her favorite style of dance is Hip Hop, while she is now living in the twin cities, she is still an active part of the studio. 

Megan – Dance Instructor

Megan started dancing at Kaleidoscope at the age of 5. She was on the competition team for 3 years and student taught for 5 years at KDS. After high school Megan went onto college at Northwest Mississippi Community College where she danced as a Rangerette for 2 years and led the team as a co-captain for 1 year. After moving back to Minnesota Megan helps out in classes and around the studio while attending Dental Hygiene school at Herzing University. Her favorite dance styles are tap and jazz and loves being apart of the KDS dance family.
