Tuition & Class Expectations
I understand tuition fees are based on an annual tuition divided between 9 equal monthly payments, and the first month’s tuition is due at the time of registration. The price per month is the same whether there are 5, 4, 3, 2, weeks in the month. The parent or guardian who registers the dancer, is responsible for payments and requirements set forth by Kaleidoscope Dance Studio.
Tuition payments are non-refundable and due the first class of every month. A $15.00 late fee per month will be put on accounts with a balance due on the 10th day. A late fee will be applied each month until the account is up to date. You will receive notice of unpaid fees prior to any collection action. If there is no payment received, your account will be sent to a collection agency. You will be responsible for the unpaid balance on your account in addition to any collection or attorney fees. Kaleidoscope Dance Studio had the right to send my account to collections in the event I have any unpaid tuition or other fees. All returned checks will be charged a $30.00 fee.
There is an annual membership fee of $30.00 per student, maximum $50.00 per family, which is due at the time of registration and is nonrefundable.
Important: Starting 6/1/2020: a 3% surcharge will be added to payments when using debit/credit cards. We do offer checking account payment options with no surcharge added. You can add a checking account number to your account as a single or recurring payment option.
There are NO REFUNDS on paid tuition or deductions for classes missed. If a student misses a class, you are still charged for it. To withdraw from a class, a 15-day notice is due via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If a student withdraws, tuition is due for that month regardless of the day of drop.
Classes Must Have a Minimum of 8 Students
Kaleidoscope reserves the right to cancel classes where minimum enrollment is not met.
There will be no classes on Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Break, and Spring Break. Any changes in our vacation schedule will be posted. “If weather conditions are unusually bad, please call 651.257.4595 or visit our website www.dancekaleidoscope.com” Note: if the school district is closed due to bad weather, we will make a decision if we will close, and you will be notified by email.
The full payment of the Spring Recital Costume fee is due December 1st. This will be automatically deducted for those enrolled in recurring payments. Costume fees for each class are posted on our website. Any unpaid costume fees after December 15th will incur a $10.00 shipping fee per costume and there’s no guarantee the costumes will arrive prior to pictures or the recital. Costumes will not be ordered until they are paid for in full.
Holiday Show Costume Rental fee is $10.00 per class and is due November 1st. This will be automatically deducted for those enrolled in recurring payments. Holiday show costumes must be returned the week following the Holiday Show. All costumes must contain the correct number of pieces when returned. There will be a charge of $50.00 for costumes and $20.00 for accessories, if they are not returned or if they are damaged in any way.
All costume fees are non-refundable.
Please Note: There will be no costumes ordered that are not paid for in advance.
